This is a great start! You solved multiple complex problems, from the 3D camera, terrain, and skybox, to animation and in-world ui. In terms of gameplay, these are good ingredients to start exploring different states, ideally creating a game manager and keeping track of player achievements and changing conditions. I also wonder if this could be a cool way to tell a simple story and invest tons of time in character development through art, dialogue, and sound. No complex gameplay, just character and production design you can interact with. That would be a really cool way to present interactive illustration work!
